Interesting system, hard to use in the US because of the engineering requirements; good course though

A lot of information to digest. It makes sense of paper. I would like to see a system in action

This course provided essential design information not provided by other articles and courses with regard to siphonic drains and important "rules" governing the system's efficacy. My only disappointment about the course is the lack of labeling on various drain elements and components that correspond to the text and discussion provided. While a modic** of elements were noted, many essential parts were left to the imagination. Better noting would be helpful. Thank you.

I have never used a siphonic roof drain system. This seminar was well detailed and interesting to me. The over all project/building cost savings for using this system is an attractive point, However, one must consider the cost (materials/installation) of this siphonic roof drain system vs that of the conventional roof drain system.

would be helpful to have more information on the baffle to complete the theoretical understanding of the system. the question of debris in that component raises doubts about reliability.

I have never used this type of drainage system before so the course was very informative. The information was well put together, maybe a bit too much technical information for an Architects understanding but none the less it was a good presentation.

A little heavy on the math formulas for computing the friction of water. More information than you typically need for sizing a drain system though I suppose much more important for siphonic drain systems.

Too much complicated calculation and detailed knowledge of plumbing components for the average architect to absorb. Obviously, a P.E. or very knowledgeable drainage plumber would be key in any such designing. An architect would be primarily concerned with the necessary routing restrictions and roof drain locations as well as having just an understanding of the basic concept difference between gravity and siphonic design.

Very complicated, but I get the basics. I think that was the intention.

Too technical for an architect to remember all the formulae!!

Too over bearing in technical input too hard for the lay-person to understand.
