Of all the courses I have taken, this is probably the most useful because it involves actual building code changes. A lot of CE is just for manufacturer advertisement, so to have a useful CE course is refreshing.

More and more building officials are starting to enforce this requirement and the complexity and multitude of materials available adds to the confusion in design for architect but understanding the code requiremetns and being aware of already tested assemblies provides a leg up on this issue.

I felt that this course was very applicable to the daily questions of an architect. It not only provides a big picture of the application of NFPA 285, but drills down to a detailed level of information that I have not seen in other comparable courses on this topic.

Good brief course (not overly tedious or exhaustively detailed). Helps us architects be reminded of all the stuff we have to keep track of. I would have liked a little more in the way of example of the engineered letter evaluating performance of components, for approval by AHJ....
